Three Elevated to Partner at Carroll, Burdick & McDonough
Preeminent California litigation and business law firm Carroll, Burdick & McDonough LLP elevates three attorneys to partner, including Karin Geissl and Jonathan Yank in the San Francisco office and Jason H Jasmine in the Sacramento office.
“Our labor and employment practice is poised for growth, thanks in part to Jonathan and Jason, and Karin has been a strong influence in the continued expansion of our German practice and international litigation capabilities. I’m pleased to welcome the three to Carroll, Burdick & McDonough’s partnership,” said Vicki Freimann, the firm’s Managing Partner. “In recent years, we have put tremendous energy into succession planning for the firm and, more critically, for the benefit of our clients, and I am pleased to be elevating three deserving attorneys this year. I expect this group will be among our tremendously talented ‘next generation’ leaders.”

She is an active member of the International Bar Association, the German American Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. Geissl earned her J.D. from Ludwig-Maximillians University, Munich, Germany in 1998. She is admitted to practice law in Germany and the U.S.
Yank is focused on public sector labor law, representing peace officers, firefighters and other public employees in litigation, grievance and disciplinary proceedings, labor arbitrations, and unfair labor practice disputes before the California Public Employment Relations Board. In addition, he has experience before the National Labor Relations Board, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and U.S. Department of Labor. Yank also handles wage and hour class action cases on behalf of aggrieved public sector unions and employees.
