Germany California Day 2006, State Capitol, Sacramento, CA

Dr. Alexander Imberg, Dr. Matthew Kemner and Karin Geissl of Carroll, Burdick & McDonough’s German Practice Group rubbed elbows with some of California's most influential on Monday, June 26, 2006 at the German American Chamber of Commerce’s and German Consulate General’s Germany California Day. The German Practice Group, elite German business professionals and several California legislators met in the Rotunda of the State Capitol in Sacramento to talk about significant business issues involving relations between Germany, the United States and, more specifically, California. Senator Dick Ackerman, the State Senate Republican Leader, and German Consulate General Rolf Schütte intrigued all in attendance when they spoke about the necessity of creating bilateral relationships and business opportunities geared toward Germany-California relations. The event proved to be a leap forward in creating business relationships and ties for the emerging German market here in California.
