Mr. Carr has experience in all aspects of commercial and business litigation, including cases involving contract disputes, business torts, unfair competition claims and defending against claims brought under the Alien Tort Statute.
He is experienced in class action litigation and other complex matters, including claims related to state and federal consumer protection statutes, warranties, product liability, unfair competition, antitrust and the Alien Tort Statute.
Intellectual Property Advice and Counseling
Mr. Carr is also experienced in intellectual property litigation, including trade secret enforcement and consumer electronics patent enforcement. He has coordinated pre-filing infringement investigations and business evaluations, performed site inspections and has overseen forensic accounting in royalty disputes.
Mr. Carr has experience in successfully obtaining post-eBay permanent injunctions. He is familiar with all aspects of patent enforcement discovery, and has been responsible for designing discovery strategy and running discovery, including successful motions to compel with imposition of monetary sanctions.
He has experience with both offensive and defensive trade secret infringement matters, including litigating an offensive trade secret infringement action to jury verdict.
