CBM Asbestos Litigation attorneys:

Unparalleled Depth of Experience

Carroll, Burdick & McDonough attorneys have been involved in the successful defense of every type of case involving injury from asbestos-containing products for more than 25 years. Our experienced team has taken dozens of asbestos cases to trial, resulting in successful jury verdicts and other case resolutions, and, we are fully acquainted with the complex legal and technical issues involved in such litigation.

Savvy and Experienced Litigators

Our continued success is derived from a defense strategy that differs markedly from that of most other defense firms. Working closely with in-house or national coordinating counsel, we pursue an aggressive approach to litigation. We actively participate in depositions, and use all procedural and substantive avenues to the maximum advantage of our clients. Plaintiffs' fact witnesses are challenged and significant client benefits are achieved by locating other witnesses to cast light into areas of exposure no longer brought out in plaintiffs’ depositions. We challenge expert opinions based on epidemiological and scientific evidence. We challenge our own experts to develop more compelling bases for their own testimony. And, we challenge ourselves to maintain an aggressive approach to litigation--one that avoids being herded along by judges and plaintiffs toward ever-rising settlement demands and one that gets you the results you are looking for in the courtroom.

Diversified Expertise

Automobile Parts

CBM has been actively involved in the defense of friction cases. Commencing with the defense of one German client over 20 years ago, our client list has expanded to include many foreign and domestic automobile manufacturers.

Navy Products

We are involved in the defense of an increasing number of cases involving sales of equipment to the United States Navy. CBM is intimately familiar with the defenses pertaining to Navy cases and is involved in steering the defense and trials of the cases, often involving Texas firms and out-of-state plaintiffs.

Premises/Products Claims

We also represent select defendants who face premises or products claims. CBM is in the forefront of developing defense legal theories, and have actively worked to develop better, and more informed, expert testimony.

National Coordinating Counsel

In our role as National Coordinating Counsel, we assist clients in managing their litigation nationwide. This enables us to remain in touch with evolving trends across the country, prepare the case with consistency and a long-term approach, and cooperate with our colleagues across jurisdictions.

In today’s rapidly

evolving world, we strive to ensure that our expertise meets our clients’ most pressing needs.
