Carroll, Burdick & McDonough is a firm committed to the conservation of precious natural resources by reducing our use of energy and water, and by cutting down on waste. The firm's San Francisco Office was selected as the pilot program for composting and recycling in our downtown high rise. The program went so well and generated such support that it was eventually incorporated and copied by the rest of the tenants in the buildings' 43 floors.
The Firm has also implemented other green initiatives including alternative transportation options such as Zipcar, and the use of compostable or recyclable cleaning, kitchen and business products, just to name a few. We are currently in the process of becoming certified as a Green Business by the San Francisco Green Business Program and have an EPA Energy Star-certified and LEED Gold rated home office building.
